Hey Sarah, I think I resemble some of these stories. As a Professional Sommelier and current Assistant Food & Beverage Director, the hospitality world has taken me around the world and into some wild, but always interesting environments. It also has allowed a deep, rich, and varied intellectual life where I publish various articles, write high end White Papers, and this winter, my first screenplay. The movie script is for one of my client wineries. To shoot the project I get to fly in a a small plane retracing the Missoula Flood that helped create the Washington wine industry. My own story starts in the Rose Garden of the White House, includes the Bill Gates Family, and a daily interaction with the great Warren Miller who invented the Ski Movie industry.

All of my High School and College Debate Team cohorts are attorneys who hate their jobs. I've had a highly academic but vibrate and challenging work life. At 64, I wouldn't change it for the world.
